Hind Metal Works is a family oriented business, established in the Year 1973 by Late Sh.Dev Raj Sharma & being run by his sons Mr.Yogesh Sharma (Partner) & Mr Rajesh Kumar Sharma (Partner) for the last 37 years. The firm is An ISO 9001:2015 Certified unit, engaged in manufacturing of various types of Gun Metal, Brass, Cast Iron, Cast Steel & Stainless Steel Valves, Cocks & Boiler Mountings under the brand name ‘HM’. The firm manufactures products according to four Indian Standards - IS-778 (Gun Metal Gate/Globe/Check Valves), IS-781 (Brass Bib Cock), IS-2692 (Gun Metal Ferrule) & IS-13095 (S.G. Iron Butterfly Valves). We are approved to manufacture IBR Certified Valves & Boiler Mountings since April 2008 by The Director of Boilers, Punjab.

In the year 1988, the Gun Metal Swing Check Valve was also designed & developed by us. In 1994, our designed Swing Check Valve was registered as a standard by Bureau of Indian Standards and we are the First ISI Approved manufacturer of this product. Gun Metal Ball Valve is also developed in the Hind Metal Works.

Our manufacturing range of products also includes – ISI Marked Ductile Iron Butterfly Valves with I.C. Cast CF8 Disc, C.I. Dual Plate Check Valve (Epoxy Coated) (with S.G. Iron Disc, S.G. Wafer Check Valve (Epoxy Coated) all upto 12” size, Forged Brass Ball Valve PN-16 which are being manufactured in-house from forging to final product as a successful mission of ‘Make in India’, Gun Metal Pressure Reducing Valve (Compact Design), and all types of Gun Metal Transformer Valves. Gun Metal Ferrule (IS:2692) & Gun Metal Bib Tap (IS:781) are being supplied to several states under ‘Jal Jeevan Mission’ of Govt. of India.

The complete range of IBR Approved Boiler Mountings (in material – Bronze, C.I., C.S. & S.S.) is manufactured by securing a threaded joint of parts like – body rings, check nuts & yoke bushes, which can be easily replaceable whenever required instead of replacing the complete valve. Non-Asbestos & pure Graphite Packing is used for long lasting life and zero leakage from the glands.

The products made by Hind Metal Works are widely being used in the public sector units like ONGC, Coal India Ltd., BHEL, Bokaro Steel Plant, Steel Authourity of India Ltd. (SAIL Steel), L&T, Best (Mumbai), Bombay Municipal Corporation, Rourkela Steel Plant, Ropar Thermal Plant, Municipal Corporation Bhopal (M.P.) & Punjab Water Supply & Sewerage Board etc.

Currently we are supplying Gun Metal Ferrule ISI Marked to Govt. of West Bengal, Resource Division’s ‘Jal Swapna Mission’ Project. More than one lakh pieces have been supplied so far & more quantity is still in production. During the past few years, we also supplied Brass Bib Cock ISI Marked in bulk quantity to Govt. Project of Telangana.

Hind Metal Works has state-of-the-art industries plant with sophisticated modern molding machines like Shell Moulding System, CNC Turning Centers and all other auxiliary equipments with assistance of advanced technology. Firm has in-house Chemical & Mechanical Testing Laboratories for material testing. Each & every piece undergoes stringent quality control tests to assure 100% leak proof and to make sure that the quality of product has been maintained according to customer's requirements. The firm is also exporting the valve & cocks to Middle East & South Africa.

With our sincere efforts for continuous quality improvement & to provide a safe & healthy working environment to our factory staff & to upgrade facilities, we have shifted our office, principal works & complete manufacturing facility i.e. office and works from, O/3A, Hind Road, Industrial Area, Jalandhar to our new location, B-21- A, Focal Point Extension, Jalandhar - 144004, Punjab in the end of year 2020.

Our new facility is equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure and has more spacious and comfortable surroundings to accommodate growing customer base and work better with our existing valuable business partners. With an increased manufacturing capacity, now we are also capable to develop & introduce more variety of products to cater market demands.
